Description

In the concept of an independent campus, higher education is basically not only providing manpower but also creating capable intellectual candidates that able to think clearly, critically and fundamentally for the development of knowledge. College should give a real role to students, to get the trust to always develop his potential.

Learning independence students become the core of the development of higher education quality. Student who are independent in learning are expected to be able to contribute their expertise for society. Student activities play a major role in making this happen.

Thus, coaching student activities is directed at development the potential of students to become human beings who have faith and piety, have good morals noble, knowledgeable, capable, creative, skilled, competent and cultured. The coaching is through a debate competition, which has been formulated in National University Debating Championship (NUDC).

NUDC 2022 brings together 112 of the best teams in Indonesia. With using a parliamentary debate format, NUDC demand students to not only able to express ideas in english, but also able to master global knowledge, analyze, make judgements, and convince the public.

In debate, students will be faced with real problems that experienced by a community or nation. Students must be able to position and convince the public that their position is true and correct. Hence the debate is the right medium to train negotiation and argumentation skills students on an international scale. Educational institutions in Indonesia have should carry out a debate competition between students in the context of internalization a positive spirit of competition charged with demands for communication skills and argument.

In line with the development of the era that demands speed, flexibility, and ability to adapt in various condition, NUDC carried out effectively online.
